Our Team
Dr. Valerie Zarcone

My name is Dr. Valerie Zarcone, also known as Dr. Val to most of my patients. I would like to welcome you to our unique Internal Medicine practice. We specialize in personal medical service for each individual patient. My passion is blending medical care with an integrative healing-oriented type of medicine to form a more complete view of the patient, including their lifestyle.
I was fortunate to be able to do a fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona which was established by Dr. Andrew Weil. That fellowship not only changed my life but changed my approach to a mind, body and soul healing method. I am a board-certified Internist, treating patients ages 16 through geriatric care.
Both myself and my Nurse Practitioner, Mr. Matthew Ranalletta, continue to care for hospitalized patients, as well as patients in skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities.
I have been in private practice for over 30 years and was able to work as a faculty group practitioner for NYU Langone Medical Center from 2013 through 2019. NYU has since left the area and I returned to solo practice. I remain active in physician Leadership at our local hospital, now known as New York Presbyterian/ Hudson Valley Hospital. I also continue to be on staff at NYU Langone.
Please contact our office to set up an appointment if you are looking for a physician who will take the time to listen partner with you in your healthcare and overall well-being.
Matthew Ranalletta

My name is Matthew Ranalletta, Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. It has been my pleasure to work alongside Dr. Valerie Zarcone in her medical practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner for the past handful of years.
My road to this position was a winding one. Originally an undergraduate of the Athletic Training Program at Purdue University in 1997, I moved to The Bronx to pursue the field. I continued on that professional path until the opportunity became available to switch to nursing.
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Pace University as a "career changer" in 2005. This led me to a registered nurse position at a local hospital on the medical-surgical, telemetry and orthopedic nursing units. During that time, I also had the opportunity to work for a couple years in the New York State Corrections system at two local maximum-security prisons. With this knowledge and experience, I decided to further my nursing education and practice at Pace University. I was fortunate to graduate with honors from the Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2014.
Since then I have had the privilege to work within this practice along my collaborating physician, Dr. Valerie Zarcone and her staff. I look forward to many more years at this practice caring for the new and well-established patients.
Nancy Jones

My name is Nancy Jones, Administrative Assistant at VJZ Enterprises, Inc. I have worked with Dr. Valerie Zarcone for 7 years and enjoy my position here very much. I have learned new things and pushed myself to accept every challenge that comes with running a doctor's office efficiently. Every day is a new, exciting challenge whether it be setting up the practice, finding and implementing a new billing system, or IT and inventory.
Dr. Valerie Zarcone and I have had a long-standing relationship ever since I was her point of contact at another specialist doctor's office where I worked. Dr. Valerie Zarcone has a great reputation in the community where she is known to have compassion and spend plenty of time with her patients. She works very hard to ensure all her patients receive the care they need to get and stay healthy. I am proud to work closely with Dr. Val and her staff. We are constantly learning new ways to better the office and the patient experience. .
I have three grown children, two grandchildren and a new one coming in Sept. 2019. In my spare time I enjoy exercising, spending time with family, cooking with friends and reading. My guilty pleasure is watching the Bachelor on ABC! My personal mantra is "Stay Positive".
Savia Zubradt

My name is Savia Zubradt and I was born in Bombay, India. I immigrated to The United States of America in 1989 with my parents where I went to college and graduated with a degree in Computer Science which, as you can see, I did absolutely nothing with.
I started working as a medical secretary at Dr. Valerie Zarcone's office 17 years ago. I was referred to Dr. Valerie Zarcone by her brother, Dr. Greg Zarcone (who was my primary care provider at that time), and by my sister-in-law who works at Hudson Valley Hospital Center. I dove in whole-heartedly and learned healthcare, a completely new field for me.
Working with patients as a medical secretary has been so fulfilling. My tasks include referrals, authorizations for testing, approvals for medications, scheduling patients for tests, and various other duties. I try to treat each patient as if they were a family member of mine and will go out of my way to do what is medically best for them with the orders given to me by Dr. Valerie Zarcone. I have the utmost respect for my co-workers and am happy to come to work each day with a smile on my face.

Margaret Treanor

My name is Margaret Treanor, and I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Zarcone and Matt Ranalletta during my time as a registered nurse, and I'm thrilled to be transitioning to an NP role in the practice.
I have wanted to be a nurse for as long as I can remember, and I began my education at Boston College, where I obtained my Bachelor in Science of Nursing in 2017. I then moved back home to Westchester and worked on a medical-surgical and orthopedic unit at local hospital. I spent a few years as a registered nurse and was inspired to pursue a graduate degree and become a nurse practitioner. I attended Columbia University School of Nursing, where I obtained my Masters in Science of Nursing in 2021.
While I achieved my master's degree, I had the privilege of rotating through Putnam Valley Internal Medicine as a nursing student. I immediately felt at home with everyone in the office. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here as a student, and I am looking forward to practicing alongside the team as a Nurse Practitioner.
